Be a better person?

Mak paksu suruh belajar tulis dalam bahasa Inggeris. Katanya, bahasa Inggeris bahasa antarabangsa. Paksu budak baru belajar, kalau salah tolong tunjukkan ya.

Reading motivational or religious novels, books, websites or articles are never enough to make differences in our life. What has the potential to make us better is our response to them. There is no shortcut with these. Change every gold nuggets and tips into something practical and useful those help us become a better person.

Don’t be like the boy playing chess with his grandfather, who then cried, “Oh no! Not again! Tuk Wan, you always win!”

“What do you want me to do?” replied the old man. “Lose on purpose? You won’t learn anything if I do that.”

The boy responded. "I don’t want to learn anything. I just want to win!”

Wanting to win isn’t enough. We have to go through a process to improve. A legend motivator, a great teacher, or even a caring father can’t do anything to us, if we ourselves don’t want to do anything.
